I stumbled upon paid online surveys by accident. I was asked to take a survey online about a product I purchased and had time to kill. I didn't think I would be compensated for my time, but a few weeks later I received a $5 check in the mail. Since that day, I have become a survey junkie during my downtime to make money (not that there is much time to spare lately).
I have been asked by several friends on which paid survey websites are legitimate and I have received feedback from them when they receive their first payout. Like me, my friends are beginning to see that even though you can't make a living taking surveys, it's a great way to make a few bucks.
Here is a top 10 list of paid survey sites that I subscribe to that I have received payment in the form of cash or merchandise.
- Pinecone Research. This popular survey site does not have open registration. Many other coupon and deal blog owners do post when Pinecone Research is looking for new survey takers, so keep your eyes open for those postings. If you qualify as a survey taker, you will receive $3 via Paypal when each of the surveys are completed. This is the beauty of this particular website since most survey sites require that you cash out when you have accrued a minimum amount.
- Survey Savvy is one of my favorite paid survey sites as you can cash out a minimum of $1. You will be paid via check in USD.
- Although there are surveys available, Inbox Dollars is a simple way to earn through a point system. You will receive paid emails which you will ean $0.02 for each email advertisement you click on. It's a slow process but it's easy money. For a more in debth discussion on other ways you can earn with Inbox Dollars, see my previous post here. You can request your earnings when you reach a minimum of $30. Yes, it takes a while but I have cashed out a few times already. You will automatically receive $5 in your account upon registration.
- Send Earnings is exactly like Inbox Dollars. You can earn reading emails as well as taking surveys and printing and redeeming coupons from their website. Again, you can cash out when you have earned $30 or more. You will automatically receive $5 in your account upon registration.
- Cash Crate. Instead of telling you how you can earn with this program, you can watch a short tutorial.
- Survey Spot offers you points in return for completing surveys. You can redeem your points for cash. Currently, 1,000 points = $10.
- YouGov allows you to voice your political views through paid surveys. you will earn points that can be redeemed for rewards or cash. For $100, you will need 100,000 points.
- Surveyhead allows you to earn a cash value for completed surveys. You can use your cash earnings for rewards. There is no cash option but you can redeem your earnings for a $25 prepaid Visa (virtual account).
- Similar to Surveyhead, edu Research Group provides you with a cash value for the surveys you complete. However, you can cash out $25 via Paypal.
- Hits4Pay is actually a site where you earn $0.02 for each ad that is displayed. The catch is that you have to view the ad for a short period of time. I tend to click on the ad and let it run in the background while I do more important things. You can cash out when you earn $25. You will automatically receive $5 in your account upon registration.
I also recommend that you set up an email account dedicated to surveys. You will be inundated with mail which notifies you of available paid surveys or paid emails.
